Last night students had the opportunity to share the fun of the ROAR program with their parents! We appreciate every parent that was able to make it to the event, and we are thankful for all the help they provided. A huge shoutout to the University of Arkansas students who came to help with the event, and have been working with Spanish speaking students this year. ROAR is also appreciative to the Treehouse Pantry for providing hot dogs, buns, and chips so that the students, staff, and parents could enjoy a great meal! #SpringdaleFamily #TreehousePantry

Mrs. McCartney’s class used the board game SIP strategy to practice language using homophones. Students worked together in groups to determine correct homophone in sentences. #SpringdaleFamily

It’s Fall Carnival Day! We can’t wait to see all our Wildcats dressed up having fun this evening! You won’t want to miss! 5-7 pm at Walker Elementary School. Don’t forget your bag or bucket for all your goodies! $5 entry per child (don’t forget your wristband if you prepaid) Cash (PREFERRED) or Venmo Follow those that are directing traffic so we can avoid any collisions. Food trucks are located in the back in the bus circle. Be sure and check them out! They are each giving us a percentage back in sales! Most importantly HAVE FUN!

Friday, October 18th is the perfect day to work on it since there’s no school. Camp War Eagle is excited to announce that the Camp War Eagle camper application is now available for families. Applications will be available until May, however, campers who apply by December 15 will have the best chance of getting to be a part of their summer programs. Kindergarten visited McGarrah Farms today and had tons of fun with a bunch of activities! They even picked their own pumpkins to bring home! Thank you to the wonderful staff at McGarrah Farms, Walker staff, and the volunteers that made this an amazing field trip! #SpringdaleFamily

All of Kindergarten learned the process of making their own butter, and most importantly, they got to enjoy eating it afterwards! 🧈

Dr. Kendrick and Mrs. Paxson's students put their science skills to the test by dissecting owl pellets today! The teachers and students had a fantastic time with this activity!

3rd graders are working hard in their math groups. They are using strategies to solve multiplication problems. Way to go Wildcats! 🐾
