We are excited about reading the book Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library as a building this month. Students will be reading the book in their classroom then working to solve puzzles. The most interesting part of this building-wide activity is that we will have “masked” readers that will be revealed during our assemblies on Thursday, May 23rd. We will be posting updates as the month progresses. Stay tuned!
Oh! And don't forget about our book fair!

Springdale High art students collaborated with Young and Westwood elementary students to make creations based on real and imaginary creatures. #Springdale Family

Let’s all celebrate and thank Principal Kimberly Crumby for her leadership, hard work, and care of our Westwood Wolves on National Principal's Day. We are fortunate to have her as our fearless leader! 💕

Students in 1st grade performed a purrfect musical last night. We know we are a bit partial but we truly believe our 1st graders are purrfect! 💕

We were Howling with Pride over these wolves! They were examples of our PACK promise-persevere, accept responsibility, calm ourselves and care for others, and keep it safe. Way to go!

Our Student Safety Patrol in action! They do a great job keeping Westwood clean! 💕

Ready or not, here comes May! Don't blink, summer break will be here before you know it!

Our Westwood PTLA (Parents Taking Leadership Action) program participants shared their legacy project this evening- they learned all about mental health. Awesome job!

To all of our 3rd, 4th & 5th graders~please go to bed soon! Tomorrow is our last day of ATLAS testing. We would like for you to be well rested and ready to show how much you've learned in Science!

Every school should be as lucky as Westwood to have an awesome Admin Assistant team! We are blessed to have Mrs. Aleman, Mrs. Acosta, Mrs. Corder and Ms. Samuel (no picture) taking care of all our Wolves everyday! We hope today was a special day for them and they felt appreciated!💕

Our Westwood Wolves have been putting their thinking caps on and coming up some wonderful cardboard projects! They had to plan and build using recyclable materials together as a group. These projects range from cars, pirate ships, robots, tv, tree houses, and even backpacks. Great job Wolves!

It's our 3rd-5th graders' time to shine!
All 3rd-5th graders will be taking the ATLAS assessment this week!
We know they've got this!!!

We are looking forward to another great week. Make sure to read about upcoming testing dates for our 3rd-5th graders.
