The Night of the Arts is one of our favorite events and holds lots of special meaning. Started to honor our first Art teacher, Mrs. Patti Brigman, all proceeds go to the Patti Brigman Memorial Scholarship fund. We had such an amazing turn out last night, we will be able to award at least 3 scholarships this year.
We love showcasing our Stars! Their use of different mediums to express their ideas and creativity is amazing. This year's Art teacher, Ms. Lindsey Shackelford, has done a superb job teaching and letting them explore, get messy and have fun!
Another way our students have fallen in love with the Arts is on stage! Dancing, singing and playing instruments were all highlighted last night, and none of which would have been possible without Miss Alex Franco, our Music teacher. She has worked with our Stars to build knowledge and confidence and it showed!
There was also raffle items, a silent auction, cookie decorating, and food to round off a fun night with family and friends. We know Mrs. Brigman would have loved it all!
